We Care. And Our Service Proves It.
Benedictine Living Community of La Crosse offers a full continuum of care for seniors in need of health care services. Benedictine Manor offers compassionate skilled nursing, long-term care and short-term rehabilitation in a home-like atmosphere and is connected to Benedictine Villa, a beautiful assisted living complex.
Residents of Benedictine Living Community have access to therapy services, a chapel, a beautiful enclosed courtyard and outside children’s play area, salon and barbershop and so much more all on one campus. We call it "Aging in Place."
Formerly known as Meadow Wood Assisted Living and St. Joseph's Rehab Center, we changed our name in 2013 after joining the Benedictine Health System, a faith-based health care organization.
We’re headquartered in Duluth, Minnesota. The Benedictine Health System is sponsored by the Benedictine Sisters of St. Scholastica Monastery. As one of the largest Catholic senior care organizations in the United States, we operate approximately 30 senior care communities in Minnesota, North Dakota, Missouri, Wisconsin and Illinois.
Our Mission and Values
Based on the Gospel and Chapter 36 of the Rule of St. Benedict, our Mission and Values direct our compassionate care. Hospitality, Stewardship, Respect and Justice, our Benedictine Core Values, guide us every day as we deliver senior housing and senior care.
